A few persons have asked how does the the cockpit play together with the pilot house. Going inside, there are only two low steps down into the pilot house. The pilot house seating is even on the same level as the cockpit, on the other side of a glass bulkhead.
The PPH is obviously rather different from most other boats but how will she appear in real life? To answer this, we have started working on a 3D model of the deckhouse and cockpit. This work will take seveal weeks to finish.
Mostly to test the idea, or as inspiration, we tested using a mock-up. Please note that this is a very crude 3D model, showing the interior like simple boxes but we wanted to show them anyhow, just to give you an idea. You may have seen this image before:
Now, this is what we see if we step on board:
The actual post about the new 42′ PPH has been updated accordingly, here
Once again, please bear in mind that these pictures are not yet correct, they lack all sorts of detail.
Also, the images are inspired by the ‘navigation station / galley forward’ interior alternative but are not an actual depiction, not even of that actual interior.
Obviously, they have even less resemblance with the ‘galley aft’ alternative – see the complete Heyman 42′ PPH post
