The first reports on the PPH are beginning to appear
Jochen Rieker made an interesting analysis for ‘Yacht’ (Germany). ‘Yacht’ is the biggest sailing yacht magazine in Europe, nowadays publishing also in English, French and Italian languages. The English version of the test can be found here:
From the review:
“Tons of exciting ideas… the Heyman 42 surprises and impresses (…) Deck saloon yachts over 40 feet long are rare on the market, but very sought after (…) Can this deck saloon yacht overtake the existing brands?”
–
“This yacht always remains easy to control, even in stronger winds, and shows no tendency to lose rudder control. If necessary, the 42 PPH can be forced from an upwind course to a downwind course with tightly set sheets.”
–
“In terms of its overall characteristics, the Heyman 42 really is almost unrivalled on the market.”
Then again, of perhaps even greater interest is the video also made by Jochen Rieker, full of enthusiasm balanced with critical views. Watch it here:
Yacht also published their test in French, here
And in Italian
